Bryan is registered blind and works at the University of Leeds at the Institute of Transport Studies. He usually travels by bus as his main way of travel which gives him confidence on his journeys.


I’ll walk with my aid and use the bus.

I can’t drive as I’m registered blind, but the bus is great for me, it’s just round the corner, I feel confident about where I am going.

It can be a useful buffer between activities I’ve found, either walking or when I’m travelling on a bus.
