Interested in wheeling more?

Wheeling includes using a wheelchair, mobility aid, pushing a pram, roller skating, roller blading and skateboarding.

Wheeling more can be one of the simplest ways to build more movement into everyday life and improve health and wellbeing. But don’t worry if it’s not something you do often, as we’ve teamed up with local organisations to help make wheeling with others enjoyable for everyone. We also provide all of the useful information needed to help you feel more confident wheeling in your local area, from listing accessible routes through to local wheeling groups to join others in your community.

Choose to join short routes or longer routes, activities in the morning or afternoon, bringing your wheelchair, mobility scooter or pushchair, if you need to:

  • Starting something new can feel a bit strange at first, but the friendly people we’ve partnered with are here to help boost your confidence.
  • All of the groups are free.
  • We ensure the routes are accessible for wheelchair and mobility scooter users with regular stops available along the way.
